VII. GENERAL CLEANLINESS, SAFETY AND SANITATION
For the sake of a pleasant and safe place to live in while protecting our environment,
everyone is enjoined to observe the following:
1. Home and Surroundings. It is the duty of every homeowner and/or tenant to clean
their surroundings of any construction debris; cut grass, fallen leaves, twigs, branches
of trees, and all forms of garbage, rubbish, trash or waste materials. Residents/
homeowners, shall at all times maintain cleanliness and in sanitary condition their
respective premises, and for this purpose, shall regularly sweep their backyard,
respective frontage, and areas surrounding their premises.
2. Posters. They shall likewise remove unsightly billboards, posters or dirty paintings
found in the outside walls of their houses, establishments or fences.
3. Prohibited Acts.
a. Littering and Public Areas -- Any person, resident, or owner shall not throw or
cause to be thrown or scatter or cause to be scattered carelessly their garbage into
the yards or premises of another, or in any vacant lot or sidewalk, park
, alley or streetgutter.
b. Spitting, urinating or defecating on any street, alley, sidewalk, posts, fences,
pathways, park, or other public places is strictly prohibited. These acts are
considered unsanitary, unhealthy,unsightly and uncivilized that it is strictly
prohibited. Lot owners should provide temporary but sanitary toilet facilities
for construction workers.
c. Leaving any waste or waste receptacles, containers/bins, bags of respective
households along sidewalks or vacant lots/properties except on designated
days of garbage collection.
d. Setting out refuse and garbage receptacles, containers/bins ahead of collection
time. Garbage bags/bins may not be set out or installed along sidewalks or streets.
Hanging of garbage bags on trees,outer fences and gates is strictly prohibited.
e. Burning of solid waste is strictly prohibited.
4. Pet Control. Pets such as dogs and cats should be well managed by the owner that
these should not be causes of disturbance, danger or sanitation issue to the community.
a.. Pets shall be kept and maintained within the premises of a residence.,
b. In the case of dogs outside the premises of a residence, they must be securely
held on leash.
c. When dogs are brought outside the premises of a residence, it will be the
responsibility of the owner or possessor to collect and dispose of the dog
excrements or wastes properly
d. The owner of pets which pose danger or are a nuisance to the village shall be
requested in writing by the THAI Board to undertake appropriate remedial
measures or they will be removed from the Teoville premises.
e. Stray dogs, cats, fowl, pets/animals are strictly prohibited.
